my thrifting wishlist - part one
Do you have a thrifting wishlist? Items that, if you're very lucky, you will come across one day. Preferably tucked in a box in the back of the charity shop, or under a table at a car boot sale, just to make the find that little bit more special.
I've decided to put my wishlist out there into the universe, in the hopes that they will come my way.

How I love this book. I've read it a number of times now, and I always come across something new. My copy is no where near as attractive as the iconic Penguin Books orange cover. The closest I have come to this is a postcard but one day I hope to own the real thing.

Yes, but I need to actually write it down as well. It's been on my 'to post' list for a while, and I should get round to it so the universe can align itself to my desires! Main thing would be a 1950s bar/cabinet type thing (for pennies, naturally).
I am an American literature teacher in Virginia, and I swear that I have now taught this book 30 times. Each time, I discover something new! I will be on the hunt for you. My father was stationed in England, so we lived there 3 years (hint, my parents owned mid-century modern, new, late 60's). If I find Gatsby, we can do a trade for something very British (loving the cadbury's chocolate bottle).
